Cem, I think it will be around 9Kg

Pat, I will describe the process for a translucent finish:

1: Paint the Solartex with two coats of 2-pack lacquer

2: Rub the 'tex down with 600 wet & dry sandpaper

3: Apply one more coat of semi-matt 2-pack lacquer

4: Mask out, rub down and apply the white 2-pack paint (Semi-matt)

5: Mask out and rub down again and apply trim colour, blue in this instance...

Here you can see the wing masked out, ready for the white paint to be applied...

Dear Chris,

As usual from you, beautiful video, good presentation and great flying conditions.
A lot of Classic planes on the site. You must motivate a lot of friends in the region?

Somme comments and questions:
Sometimes the Flamingo is flying at nearly zero ground speed.
Not enough penetration? Too thick profile? Too much wind? Too light for those wind conditions?
I notice also some turbulent flying, even some instability. Are you “over controlling” your glider? Or again too much wind?

Are you using the same camera as for the Steinadler? Which brand and model?
