Mg19b from Vincent in scale 1:17

Hi to you all master modellers!
Irecently bought the plans of all Musgers here at Retroplane and decided to build the Mg19b in scale 1:17 (wingspan 1m ) in cardboard as a present.

I started scaling down the PDFs to create a helling for all the spanners ("Spant" in german).

I used a lasercutter in a fablab to cut out all the parts needed using "Finnpappe" (a very soft kind of cardboard) as my material.

The next step was glueing the spanners in place and adding the stringers.

The last step until now is building the rudder:

Using this type of cardboard was a pragmatic decision.
In the fablab there's a small store with the most wanted materials, tools, etc.
Many students of architecture visit the fablab and they are building their models with this kind of cardboard.
Getting Balsa would have been more time consuming, so I have chosen this material.
