Bonjour a tous,
I went on with the ribs, finally the very thin battens (1 X 1mm) had arrived and I drawed the pattern for them on the ribs with pencil

The battens are cut off after glueing with a small wire cutter, and sanded.

Now I could built the wing itself

I like the curve in the wing!

Bonjour a tous,

After gluing in all the battens and vertical webs I went on with the hinges. I used the method of Vincent Besancon (sorry I don't have the French correction Sad

) and I pre cut the ribs

so I could glue the hinges in place before cutting of the aileron. Next I tried to figure out the pulleys of the pull pull wires

and getting the angles correct. The rudderhorns on the aileron have the same throw as the on the servo. I had to create a lot of space for the wires in the ribs at the root, even I had to reinforce one rib.

The actuation of the spoiler came quite close to the pull pull wires of the ailerons.

The servo arm is in its most extended position when the spoiler is closed, so there is less chance of burning the servo....
Laminated tip

and the trailing edge is built up of 0.8 mm ply bottom and top, balsa in between. I laminated the balsa also in the curve of the trailing edge

I guess there is less figuring out with the other wing Very Happy

In the meantime I went on with the other wing and that went indeed a lot faster! So yesterday I put it all together in the sunshine, its now raining Sad

First in the attic (It just fits)

First I have to finish the construction of the wings, then all the pull-pull wires for the controls, than the canopy mold and then all the bits of ply. It will take some time!
Die rumpf ist vollig beplankt, die Flugel nur die nase, hier noch ein photo von das vorbild.
